We are pleased to be in touch this week with the 12th edition's special focus on performance art. Live performances are scheduled throughout the run of the fair, continuing Untitled Art’s support of non-commercial genres and multi-disciplinary art practices.

Wednesday, December 6th
11:30am Awilda Sterling-Duprey, Blindfolded (2020 and ongoing) Presented by Nest Exhibitor El Kilómetro (San Juan, Puerto Rico) Fusing Afro-Caribbean dance, music, drawing, and performance, Sterling-Duprey translates music through her body into dance movements on the paper´s surface with sharp actions and a sense of playfulness. 3pm Trueson Daugherty, Absolute Obedience (2023) Curated by Kalup Linzy with the support of The Tulsa Artist Fellowship Daugherty will serve a mass wedding cake served to the public, catalyzing dialogue about the nuances of religious rituals, cultural heritage, and the implications of conformity. 4pm Lieven De Boeck, what's going on? (2023 ongoing) Supported by Gallery Meessen De Clercq and Ringling College of Art and Design De Boeck's parade is a performance, a happening, and a feast celebrating mixed gender and queer identity—Participating and experiencing art through queerness.
Thursday, December 7th
5pm Erick Antonio Benitez, Software for People v2 (2023) Presented by Exhibitor Selenas Mountain (New York, NY) and supported by Y.ES Contemporary A duet performance and collaboration between Benitez and the dancer, Andrea Soto, that reimagines and negotiates the possibilities of the Glitch as a tool of liberation and empowerment.
Friday, December 8th
5pm GeoVanna Gonzalez, PLAY, LAYE, AYE: ACT 6 (2023) Presented by Programming Partner Commissioner in partnership with Chief Gozalez's latest work is an ever-evolving infrastructure exploring the discourse around public and private space, in collaboration with dancers Destiny Diaz and Maria Burt from SYNCOPATE COLLECTIVE, poet Arsimmer McCoy, and musicians King Friday and Claudens Louis. 6pm David Correa, The Machining of the Fool (2023) Presented by Exhibitor Negrón Pizarro (San Juan, Puerto Rico) Taking elements from political theorists and philosophers as well as biblical mythology, art history, and medicine, David Correa creates performances that depict the desperation, resentment, and sorrow of the Latin laborer.
Saturday, December 9th
6pm Nicki Duval and Robbie Trocchia, bout (2023) Presented by Cultural Partner Locust Projects An audiovisual performance and installation that deconstructs competitive boxing and the work of American realist painter George Bellows, erasing boundaries between arts and athletics, breaking down the boundaries between arts and athletics, and challenging gender stereotypes through boxing and queerness.
